So far I don't not like the piece. Which is a lot for me to say on a first listen of anything. Especially a tuba concerto. It's clever and well-thought-out, and it really does take the tuba in all its glory into account. And it seems like it's a whole lot harder than Ms. Jantsch makes it sound.
